I must have been good this year
Sint really got crafty this year! Here's what I recieved last weekend.

A needle felting kit, brought back by the Sint all the way from Finland.

A lovely felted bag from Nepal, a little llama from Peru and pieces of felt for my crafting stash.

Three balls of Rowan Yorkshire Tweed 4ply, to make the Nutcracker Slippers from Handknit Holidays. I just had to start making these, and I finished the first sole last night.
Thank you so much, Sinterklaas!
Mermaid
Meanwhile, I also made some progress on Mermaid.

The pattern is kind of complicated, there is a lot of 'at the same time, do this and this' stuff going on. I have to read some parts a couple of times before I get it. I really like working on it, but it will take me some time to finish it!

You must have been VERY sweet this year, to get such beautifull presents by de Sint.
The mermaid will be marvelous, but I think its not a project to work on while you have an conversation or so.
p.s. I ordered the E. Zimmermann "bijbel" by Proxis, and yes its a perfect book, I would like to make the mittens, the round shawl, etc etc, but first read the stories.
p.s. 2 Glad you post again, I'm a frequent reader and I missed you!
Bye

Those Nutcracker slippers are one of my favorite projects from that book; I can't wait to get some started. I'm looking forward to seeing how yours come out!
