Small things
The hooded baby sweater is almost done. I just have to graft the two halves of the hood together, block it and put in the zipper. Here you can see what it looks like now:

It's posing in the sun with the Oosterhaven in Groningen in the background. The weather still is great over here!
Since I had more than two balls of this luscious yarn left (slight miscalculation on my part), I started something new with it.

It's going to be a little baby sweater too. The pattern is in the Fall 2004 edition of Marie Claire Idées, my favorite magazine. It's in French, and it's so inspirational! Not much knitting, unfortunatly, but well worth checking out if you're into crafting.

Groetjes Marijna

I'm beginning to think you have eight arms. How do you knit so well and so much? The sweater looks lovely! I love the pic. I've never really been to Europe (only Istanbul on the beginning of my tour through the Middle East) but I dream of going to Holland.
I love tulips.
But I really want to collect some recipes from Holland. I want Dutch homestyle recipes with which to experiment with!
Which is funny; I call my knitting patterns 'recipes'... as a future chef, recipes and patterns are very similar to me!

Hey Saartje,
Lekker bezig meid!

A nice color for the baby sweater. It will be soo cute. The picture looks so nice green and sunny over there. Did you steal the Hawaiian weather? It's been rainy here (wink)

I'm so impressed by how fast you finished that! It's sooo cute and lovely colour and lovely picture! The "left-over-project" looks really pretty too!!

Both sweaters look lovely! I can't wait to see how they turn out. I'm so impressed you can knit in three languages! ;) And really pleased to have discovered your blog.
