On the move
Just a quick note to let you all know I'm still here and I'm still knitting. Here's the shaped cardigan from Poetry in Stitches:
I really enjoy knitting with the Rowan Wool Cotton. The color is lovely too, although difficult to take pictures of.
The reason I've been this quite is the fact that we're in the middle of a move. We're moving to the north of the Netherlands, to the city T and I both were born: Groningen. We're happy about it, but moving is a lot of work! Wallpapering, painting, laying a floor, packing etc, you get the picture. Thankfully, we get a lot of help from our family. It will be a week or two before I get some real time to myself again. So blogging (and responding to emails) will be slow for a while.
I leave you with a link I keep forgetting to post here: some extremely adorable korknisser by Elliphantom Knits. Just look at those colors! So inspiring. I got an email some time ago from someone who made korknisser in different colors to use as pieces in a children's board game. I thought that was such a great idea!

My husband and I are moving back to our hometown too! Though we have until the end of February to prepair! Good luck with the move, I know that knitting is keeping me happy during the stress!

Wat een verrassing om te lezen dat je gaat verhuizen naar Groningen!! Leuk voor jullie en dat scheelt ook veel reistijd!! Prettig om dichter bij familie en werk te wonen.
Logisch dat je niet zo aan breien toe komt, maar dat zal straks beslist weer komen.
Succes met alles wat er nog gebeuren moet!!!

Success en sterkte met de verhuizing - misschien is het toch een goed idee om zo tussendoor te breien, tegen de stress!

Ik heb ook het boek poetry in stitches gekocht maar vindt het maar erg moeilijk te ontcijferen.
