A quickie
For the past two weeks I have been trying to compose an interesting blog entry with answers to some of the questions I've been getting lately. However, somehow I can't seem to get it ready just now. So in the meantime: a short message just to let you know I'm still here! Some recent knitting related pictures:
Two balls of Regia Kaffe Fassett, given to me by the LYS owners of the Ryahuis in Zuidlaren to make something for Lotte. Such a nice gesture!
I'm knitting the Highland Scottische Kilt Hose from Folk Socks by Nancy Bush. I had always wondered what these stocking would look like when worn, and after seeing some examples at Mustaa Villaa, Knit two, purl two, Bowerbird knits and Knitting to stay sane, I just had to cast on. I'm using the new Lana Grossa Meilenweit Seta/Cashmere (65% wool, 15% silk, 16% polyamid, 4% cashmere) and I have to say: it's a pleasure to knit with.
When going camping, always take your Flicca!

She is a beautiful baby. And the yarn you were given will suit her no matter what you make with it, but I'm still wondering what you have in mind!
I hope to make a pair of knee socks when I complete the sweater currently on the needles. You must be excited to have one almost done.

Hoi Saartje,

Groeten, Tineke
