Blanket
Thanks everyone, for all the kind welcome back words. It's good to be back. Today is promising to be a lovely spring day, with temperatures of around 20C/68F. We're going outside to celebrate my mother's birthday with a picnic, mmmmm....
Something else I knitted during the blogging hiatus: another small Bear Claw blanket. In December 2006 I knitted my first one for one of my cats.

As it turned out, it was an ideal baby blanket. Small and warm, very convenient to take everywhere. So we did, and unfortunately, it got lost. We searched and searched, but it was gone, never to be found again. What to do? Well, knit another one, of course!
I decided on using different colors, so the blanket goes with our bright orange stroller better than the first blanket, see?

The yarn I used is mostly from Klazien's Kreatie.
More details on Ravelry. Oh, and I put the details of the dress from the last entry on Ravelry, too.
About the Ikea dpn case in the last entry: Jill asked if the case would fit 8 inch dpns. Jill, all the dpns you see in the case are 8 inches long. And Stefania was wondering if Ikea sells a similar case for straight needles. Well, I didn't spot one the last time I was in my local Ikea, but I'll keep an eye out next time. They did have some cd cases that might be good for circular needles, however.
Right, I'm off to sit in the sun!

I think this is the dpn case on page 23: http://80.72.5.5/08/N3NL/
It is a part of the FLĂ–RT serie.

Hi (new reader here)
I stumbled over to my local Twin City Ikea after reading your post on the DPN case. At my store it was in the multimedia storage area. The "Multimedia Holder" is really handy. I can carry a set of DPN's and crochet hooks (for emergency you know) in the top inside pocket. And also a pair of scissors, stitch markers, and other little goodies in the main part. This is a really easy way to keep all my gadgets together in my knitting bag.
Thanks for the idea!

Hey (new reader)
Can I just say that I love your blog?! It's inspired me to start my own, so I've just started adding pictures of things I've made in many years of sewing and knitting.
Thank you for the inspiration!

Hi Saartje, I love what you do, you're so clever! A project for me this winter will be to knit the noro cap. I also enjoy reading a dutch blog, I really like of the Netherlands. Be well!

Hi! First-time commenter, here... I'm so glad you're back, I kept checking, thinking you couldn't possibly have abandoned your blog for good, and it paid off! Love the little dress, I think it will go right into my Ravelry queue.

The new blanket is perfect for your stroller! I love the idea of using a CD case for circulars. My collection is getting hard to handle in a basement drawer. I think the closest Ikea is hundreds of miles from me, but I should be able to find another option. I'm enjoying your Ravelry site too!

My parents are going to Utrecht in a few days - where could they find local handspun yarn for me?
They will be traveling around also.
Thanks for your flowers & booties!
